I'm a 2nd year Masters student in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, advised by Professor Jing Xiao in the Adaptive and Intelligent Robotics (AIR) Lab. My current research is focused on semantic-aware perception for robots in the application of inspection in sparse environments, which pose additional challenges compared to typical SLAM applications. I competed my Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering at Iowa State University, where I was advised by Professor Yan-Bin Jia in the CS Robotics Lab. Outside of school, I also have extensive robotics and perception experience from side projects and both large and startup companies. Check out a list of my research and projects!
